read, then pass along

i want to start a book chain.

i'm going to. i'm just going to make it happen.

i'm going to write my address in the front of a book and send it on a voyage.
one to one friend, one to another.
then they'll send it to a friend, who will send it to a friend, who will send it to a friend.
we'll all highlight and scribble notes in the margins
or add pages to share our thoughts
then pass it along.
maybe one day, it will return to me
with a list of people who have shared it with me
and my book chain will be complete.



and i'll be happy.




and we'll start again,
until there's no more books to read.
